Coach

When did you start at T6P?

My time began during early 2022 when I completed the Internship. Fast-forward 6 months and I commenced working as a Performance Coach at The Sixth Principle Gym.

What is your role?

My role as a Performance Coach and the Head of Online Training, is to work collaboratively with my athletes to improve their targeted physical and mental qualities.

Favourite memory/memories at T6P?

A few of my favourite memories include seeing some of my Football Athletes stand out on when playing in the Coates Talent League and at Club Level.

What are your coaching areas of interest?

I’m interested in coaching Athletic Development, and believe that utilising a combination of strength, power, and movement training will best prepare an athlete to excel in their sport.

Furthermore, I’m interested in Youth Athletic Development, where I focus on working with individuals to build a strong foundation of their training journey, whilst creating a positive relationship with physical activity, and improving their sporting ability.

What client population groups do you work with?

I enjoy working with anyone who wants to improve their sporting performance on and off the field, as well as individuals who are looking to implement consistent strength training & running into their lifestyle.

  • Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science

  • Bachelor of Business (Sports Management)

Outside work hobbies

I enjoy trail running, reading and supporting the Carlton Blues in the AFL

When did you start training at T6P?

I started training at T6P back in 2021.

What brought you to T6P?

I originally started here as a part of the speed project but then when I had an ankle injury Jarrad helped me find a physio and said I could do my rehab at the gym.

What successes did you have from training at T6P?

Since I’ve started at T6P I’ve gotten a lot stronger and haven’t had an injury since I’ve started here which I feel is a priority of the coaches at the gym and has helped me heaps in season

How did your coach help you with your goals?

Steve has helped me improve on all my lifts by helping me gain new pbs, he also stays in constant communication to find ways to best suit me in-season and off-season. 

Would you recommend us?

I would recommend T6P as it has helped my football heaps since I’ve started there and all the coaches there are great.
